On Thursday a friend and I were standing at a railway crossing waiting to get across and an old guy came up to us and did the salute and said "Adolf Hitler" to us and then walked off. He didn't have the moustache. Having a Hitler moustache now in Germany is illegal and you are arrested.
It's pretty unexpected, isn't it? I can't imagine carpooling with Hitler - we'd argue about politics, human rights, war crimes and what music to play in the car. I can't stand Richard Strauss and would rather listen to the Wombles than Wagner...
I'd actually argue ALL moustaches should be illegal, unless they come with a matching beard, of course. Or they belong to a 1970's porn star - then they're pretty much obligatory.
